Massey Ferguson announces list of finalists of the 17th Journalism Award

The awards event will be in Canoas (RS), on August 29, when the winners of each category will be revealed


São Paulo, August 2018 - The 17th Journalism Award, a cultural contest conducted by Massey Ferguson, reveals the finalists’ works registered in the seven categories: Newspaper, Magazine, Multimedia, TV, Photojournalism, Student and South, Central Americas and the Caribbean. The decision was taken by the Judging Committee, which met on August 10th, in São Paulo (SP), to define the best stories and photographs. The ranking of the finalists will be revealed during the awards ceremony, which will take place on August 29th, 2018, in Canoas (RS).

The first place of each category (Newspaper, Magazine, Multimedia, TV, Photojournalism) will receive R$ 15,000, the second place will be awarded a tablet and the third place a smartphone. The winner of the Student category will take home R$ 7,000, while in the South and Central Americas and the Caribbean category, the winner will be contemplated with a trip for two to Porto de Galinhas (PE).

The Judging Committee is composed of 7 jurors who had the challenge of assessing more than 500 works written by communication professionals who produce journalistic content related to agribusiness.
